The Ponsbourne Hotel strongly recommends that you take out insurance cover to protect you in the event of unforeseen cancellation.
We only permit the use of our own in-house team at weddings and functions.
Our functions rooms all support different numbers and you will be invoiced for the full amount of guests even if your party falls below this number on the day. Additional guests will also be charged for.
Pricing may vary and be subject to change particularly if you are planning your wedding months or years ahead. We follow a policy of applying the pricing in place on the date the event takes place and will endeavour to work closely with couples to advise of them of any price changes so they can adjust their plans if necessary.
If you wish your reception to include a fireworks display, we have to charge a land fee for this. We also need to have sight of the fireworks company Public Liability certificate to ensure that there is a minimum level of insurance cover. No fireworks may be discharged after 10 pm and the fireworks company are responsible for cleaning the gardens and grounds of any remaining debris. Failure to leave the site clean and safe may result in an additional charge.
The bridal couple is responsible for booking the Registrar and coordinating the date between the Register Office and the Ponsbourne Hotel. There are set protocols and regulations in place surrounding the notice of intention to marry and it is the responsibility of the bride and groom to ensure that these are complied with.
Children are very welcome at the Ponsbourne Hotel but small children must be supervised at all times to ensure their own safety and to make sure they do not disturb the enjoyment of other guests and visitors to the hotel.
All confetti even biodegradable confetti is strictly prohibited.
Music is permitted during both the ceremony and reception and our staff are happy to discuss with you in more detail the types of music allowed and the curfews in place to ensure that the peace and enjoyment of other guests are not disturbed.
