Due to the age of the building and our desire to maintain as many of the original features as possible, there are sometimes areas of the hotel and grounds in which ease of access cannot be guaranteed.

There are parking spaces at the front of the hotel specifically designated for blue badge holders.  There is ramp access for wheelchair users and walkways with handrails for those with restricted mobility.

Our staff are always on hand to assist any visitors who have special or unusual requirements.  We can highlight areas of the hotel where access is completely level and point out steps and floors of different heights to assist you during your stay.

There are wide access unisex toilets on the ground floor of the hotel and we have designated bedrooms with generous doorway access which are furnished to suit the requirements of a wheelchair user with space to turn round and manoeuvre.  These bedrooms are dotted about the hotel giving you a range of floor options and views.

Some electric wheelchairs are very large and this may limit access to certain parts of the hotel but our staff can discuss the dimensions of your chair with you and what impact this could have on your visit.
